puffy braid crown

So, I wanted something fast, I was wiped out this weekend and I have not been up to forever hair do's! I made puffy braids on each side of her head kind of on the sideish
Then I hooked her hair into a pony on the back

added a big ole christmas bow with ralphie my favorite Christmas movie!

smile Baby Mermaid!

Today we mixed up the basic braided hair band, but before I get started make sure you check out our giveaway today is the last day to enter! so we parted out the front part of her hair and held it with a clip, then I Hair sprayed the back and combed it into a ponytail, then starting at her ear I braided the front section up to her side part and then braided the hair all the way to the ends

did the same thing on the other side
pulled both of the braids into her ponytail

added our Jacob bow in Honor of the new movie that comes out tonight at midnight! we will be there! sometimes ya just have to stay out all night with your kiddo!

Here she is from the sideish with her bangs all combed out kinda! how long does it take for bangs to grow out?

chic Older girl hair with bangs and braids and pony tail

To cool for hair recently cut some bangs into her hair (against moms wishes) and so now we get to discover new hairdos! for this hair we hooked her bangs up out of the way and parted out an inch section behind her bangs, then hooked the back hair out of the way

I braided down one side, and then the other
then I pulled her hair into a pony and hooked the braids into it

from the front with her "long bangs"

and a silly one!

Oh, I also have a very cool giveaway coming up on the end of this week! get ready cause it is so cool! I can't wait to show you the cool product and the great price that I found at a craft show this weekend! whoop! I love new hair stuff!!!!

Side pony with a braid!

Baby Mermaid wanted a side pony today so this is it! so I parted her hair on the side and pulled one side into a pony. I admit this was a little high but it all came out in the end
Then I braided the rest of her hair around her head

and hooked the end onto the pony on the side

stuck a bow on there and we were out the door!

braid into a side pony

Yea, after having my computer down for over a week, after putting in a new mother board & power supply, and then having a guy come and put in a new processor (thanks Dell) I love a computer under warranty! I can finally post some new do's So, I french braided the side of to Cool For Hairs hair,

Then I pulled the rest of her hair into a side pony tail, and hooked the end of the braid into the pony,

TaDa! an easy quick do for a school day!

Tween pony tail with braid

I made a new bow this week that To Cool for Hair was excited about and she wanted me to do her hair! So of course I said Yes! I started with a very soft french braid just to hold back her side bangs! I just pulled chunks and Tried not to follow any part.
Then I pulled the rest of her hair into a pony, I really hair sprayed the hair before I combed it into the pony to hold her side bangs in the pony!

From the top-ish

here is a good shot of the braid

and a happy teenager! by the way you can check out the twilight bow at chic-clips

Pony in a net of ropes

I am sure that this is not original to me, I just sat down and started to play and this is what we ended up with. I am thankful for patient kiddos! We did six ropes across the front of Baby Mermaid's Head
Then we took out a section in the back behind her ear like this

and hooked the 3 braids from the left side to the section behind her ear on the right

Then we wove the right sides threw the left side and hooked it to a small section behind her right ear

Then we hooked both sections together under her hair, and I pulled out the curling iron and of course my good friend hairspray and went to town!

Here she is still in her jamies and her hair all dolled up!

From the back,

and ready for church!

braids,again

Today I was in the mood to braid so that is what we did! sorry these instructions are so vague, I was typing them while on hold on the phone! so please forgive me!

we did a dutch french braid parting the hair on the far right side!

Then we did a second braid only parting it on the left side.

Then we did a third braid, on the right side again, and then pulled the back into a high ponytail.

then we hooked the braids back into the pony!

add a bow,

and some Baby Mermaid cheese,

and, your done!

pony tail with braids just for fun

What kind of hair should we do, a ponytail? Never! unless we spice it up a bit! we started by parting the hair from ear to ear and then parting that section on a dramatic diagonal part. Combed smooth and hair sprayed and then braided back one of the sections
combed, hairspray braid again!

this pic shows the part really good. then I just combed all the loose hair into a low pony and hooked the braids in with an elastic! really easy but a little bit fun!

back, before it has been "bowed"

from the front with some cheese!

with a bow! we love the Jonas Brothers! these bows will be on chic-clips next week
