Organic Bun.

So right now I am working on a quick two week workshop with our Youtheatre group, and My two oldest have been teaching, so... To cool for hair requires a up do to keep her hair off her neck! I guess you have a hard time chasing 25 5-8 year olds with a sweaty neck! I did this up do and loved it It was really loose and kinda flowey looking but stayed in well all day! best of both worlds!
So I started by pulling the bottom part of her hair into a pony by doing a twisty type thing (not my specialty)
Next I just started grabbing hair and doing weird things with it (twists ropes braids whatever)
I just hooked them to the pony with an elastic
here all of her hair is back into a pony

I have been doing this bun a lot lately, its super easy! I take the pony (or piggies) braid it and then....

tie it in a knot!

hook it with bobby pins to secure it
and you have an easy summer do for a teen that is a tiny bit fussy with her hair! but this gets the too cool for hair seal of approval!

I made a new bow this week that To Cool for Hair was excited about and she wanted me to do her hair! So of course I said Yes! I started with a very soft french braid just to hold back her side bangs! I just pulled chunks and Tried not to follow any part.
Then I pulled the rest of her hair into a pony, I really hair sprayed the hair before I combed it into the pony to hold her side bangs in the pony!

From the top-ish

here is a good shot of the braid

and a happy teenager! by the way you can check out the twilight bow at chic-clips

With a sniff and a heavy heart I blog this hairdo. It is the last do I did in The little Princesses hair before she had it all chopped!
It is a bit more grown up but I think that its cute and simple, nice for when you are running out the door!
Just part the hair down the center and comb into a smooth pigtail then I just braided it a couple of times and did an elastic, I left it really loose so it would look kinda messy and believe it or not applied no hairspray! this may be a blogging first for me!

From the front with crazy eyes?

and a sweet princess, thanks for reading my blog!
